Program details
A Type Rating is a critical milestone in a professional pilot's journey, providing the specialized training required to operate a specific aircraft type in commercial airline operations. Building upon the foundation established during flight training, type rating programs are designed to develop the advanced technical knowledge, operational proficiency, and crew coordination skills expected in today's airline environment.
Through a combination of comprehensive ground school, airline-standard procedures, advanced simulator training, and scenario-based exercises, pilots gain the confidence and competence needed to transition from training aircraft to sophisticated commercial airliners. This training focuses not only on aircraft systems and performance but also on Crew Resource Management (CRM), threat and error management, decision-making, and standard operating procedures used by airlines worldwide.
Most of our students pursue type ratings on the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320, two of the most widely operated commercial aircraft families in the world. These programs are highly regarded by airlines and provide pilots with valuable experience on the aircraft they are most likely to encounter in commercial operations. In addition, we can facilitate access to training on a variety of other aircraft types and simulator platforms through our network of trusted training partners.
At Crew Connect Aviation, we work closely with leading aviation training organizations to provide access to world-class instructors, state-of-the-art full-flight simulators, and airline-focused training programs. Our goal is to help bridge the gap between commercial pilot training and airline employment, ensuring our students are fully prepared to enter professional flight operations with the skills, confidence, and qualifications required to succeed in the global aviation industry.
